Commercial Loans Sought as Property Values Increase
2/11/2011
The recession dealt a strong blow to commercial and industrial property values during the middle of 2009, but while the housing market continues to flounder, commercial real estate has begun to improve on many fronts. In some areas, commercial property values have increased 30% from low levels reached in 2009. Residential values remain low in most markets and are still fluctuating lower.
Commercial Loan Rates
The low cost of commercial financing has spurred investors to consider commercial real estate over other income generating investments, such as bonds. This demand has helped keep the commercial sector afloat. Some economists and news sources report that the commercial real estate industry is one of the healthiest sectors in the entire national economy.
Low interest rates on commercial loans have allowed many business owners and investors to build healthy portfolios of commercial real estate. Though the commercial lending marketplace didn’t experience the same turmoil seen in other markets during the recession, commercial loan rates dropped to equivalent low levels all across the nation.
Commercial Lending
If you’re interested in purchasing a commercial property for business or investment purposes, there are many financing options available. Commercial loans can be tailored to meet the needs of each borrower and each property being financed. This allows for ultimate flexibility when taking out a loan on a piece of real estate.
