Jessica Babinski

In November of 2007, with the encouragement of her husband who is also an entrepreneur, Jessica founded Paramount Lending, Inc. Over three years ago the company launched from her basement. Today, Paramount is made up of offices in four states with a total of 21 fabulous employees doing business in seven different states. Paramount Lending strives to be a leading residential mortgage company headquartered in South Charlotte, North Carolina. It is a company of high moral principles and ethics with professional standards set above the rest.

Graduating from James Madison University in 2002 with a degree in finance, Jessica's love for the mortgage industry was immediate. After college, she was recruited by the CEO of a Mortgage Bank in Richmond, VA. She then moved to Charlotte in 2003. She continued to work in the mortgage business at a small brokerage where she developed relationships that would help build the foundation for her future.

Jessica's friendly and upbeat personality, along with her drive, hard work, and self-motivation, enabled her to build Paramount Lending to what it has become. She believes the main component to her company's success is the amazing staff. The talented and high quality people that work for Paramount Lending have led the company to accomplish far more than Jessica had ever imagined.

In 2007, only two loans were closed at Paramount Lending. In 2008, 312 loans were closed. In 2009, Paramount Lending more than tripled its production from 2008 closing 1,091 loans, over $250 million in volume. In 2010, over $280 million in volume was closed.

Jessica has been awarded the Five Star Charlotte Mortgage Professional Award in 2009 and 2010 and is a member of the National Association for Mortgage Professionals. In the Charlotte Community, she has volunteered for Meals on Wheels and her company participates annually in the "Be a Santa to a Senior Program." Paramount Lending has recently donated to the Special Olympics, Cystic Fibrosis and is "adopting a day" with Habitat for Humanity.

Jessica won the 2010 Rising Star Award for the National Association for Women Business Owners, Charlotte Chapter.

She was also a winner of the 2010 Charlotte Business Journals "Women In Business Achievement Award."

Jessica married her college sweetheart in January of 2009, Arthur J. Babinski, III and they welcomed their beautiful baby boy Arthur, IV in December, 2009. She likes to play soccer and go running in her free time.
