J.D. has got what it takes to keep up with today's mortgage climate. "This industry is constantly changing with new guidelines and restrictions presenting themselves on a daily basis, we must be capable and willing to adapt," he says.

J.D.'s achievements as a loan officer are evident in the success stories of his clients. He recently assisted an Army Colonel and his wife with a purchase of a home. The challenge was that the Colonel was deployed, but J.D. helped the wife get everything together in order to close on time. "Immediately after the closing, the Colonel stood up, shook my hand and sincerely thanked me for making the entire process as simple as possible for his family. It was an honor that a man of his rank truly appreciated the work that I had just completed."

J.D. also helped a young couple who thought they had no chance of becoming homeowners. "Over an 8-month period, I helped them and gave them guidance on what steps were necessary in order to purchase their first home. Upon closing, they were extremely grateful that someone was able to help them achieve one of their biggest goals."

J.D. also encourages clients to be informed consumers. "When shopping for your home mortgage, it is pertinent that you look at all of the aspects of it. There are loan originators out there who have no problem simply giving you a generic quote to get you in the door, but fail to disclose some of the most important facts or stipulations of that particular quote."
