With mortgage rates being so low in the past couple of months my wife and I decided we should look into refinancing. With all of the badd press in the mortgage industry over the past couple years we were really skeptical so we made sure to talk to multiple lenders before signing any paperwork. We filled out a request online to get quotes from multiple reputable lenders. In the first day we were completely bombarded with phone calls and e-mails. Nick with United Fidelity Funding was the 2nd person we talked to and he took a different approach. By different I mean he didn't try to pressure us into paying for an appraisal or what one major lender rep called an "applicaiton fee". Instead Nick spent time asking me a lot of details on our particular situation and explained the entire loan process from start to finish. This "no pressure" approach really made my wife and I feel comfortable. After we talked to 4 lenders 1 lender that was based out of state was quoting a slightly lower rate. We sent Nick a copy of the GFE and he matched the rate and we closed our loan with him in 10 business days!! The entire process was stress free and when we got to the closing table everything was exactly what we were quoted. I would highly recommend Nick and UFF to anyone out there looking to refinance and wants to do business with a local bank that gives you a personal touch and a handshake at the closing table.
