With a 620 credit score, you may qualify for an FHA loan with only a 3.5% downpayment. The great thing about FHA is you could qualify for a 1-4 family residence. Please contact me for a preapproval. Hope this helps.

While all of the answers you have received are correct, I would want to make sure the credit score you have received is accurate. Some of the scores you purchase use a different scoring model and tend to either overstate or understate the actual value that is used for mortgage qualification. When you speak with loan officers to get pre-qualified, make sure you have at least one of them run your credit and provide a copy so you can be sure you are using the correct number. Sure, but it's best to work with someone that will review your credit profile and see if there is an opportunity to increase your score via a rapid re-score or other method. Remember, credit scores constantly change so make sure you put yourself in the best position........
