HARP does allow the refinance of MFH, and there are lenders out there that will do them, and normally I would suggest using someone local, but in your scenario, if you find anyone willing to do it, you should latch on to them and don't let go.... I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.comNov 9th 2012
First, make sure your loan is currently owned by either Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. You can check here: For Fannie Mae (FNMA) use http://www.fanniemae.com/loanlookup/ For Freddie Mac (FHLMC) use https://ww3.freddiemac.com/corporate/. If your loan is not owned by either, then you will not be able to refinance under HARP. Most Manufactured home loans are FHA and not conventional. If this is the case, then you are in luck, because there are many more lenders that will do an FHA streamline. ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z team of NOVA Home Loans ~ NMLS 40586 ~ Licensed in California and Arizona ~ www.LoansA2z.com 888-889-9950Nov 9th 2012
