There may be options available to you, but the bigger question is where did you get that score? Often, the scores you get are not the same as what a lender will use, therefore you should have someone actually pull your credit in conjunction with a mortgage to see exactly where you stand. Start by searching for a lender here by clicking the "find a lender" tab above. Jun 15th 2010Vanessa,Actually the minimum score for VA is 620. One option to consider is to run a CreditXpert Report, which is were we pull your bureau, and the software from the three bureaus makes recommendations on steps you can take to increase your score. For some people, it can be small steps, like paying down a balance on a credit card by a little bit, or closing an account, etc. If you would like to do that, there is no charge. You can reach me at 316-644-4081 and I can email the report back to you. Hope that helps. Thanks,Roy JantzBNC National Bankrjantz@bncnationalbank.com Jun 15th 2010

Enter your answer hereHello, That score you received could be the low, middle or high, you would need to have your credit pulled by a good VA lender and see exactly what you scores are. While VA may not have a required minimum score the investors have set their own minimums which is currently 620, now 620 is the Middle score of the 2 so 602 may be your lowest of the 3 or any of the 3. I do a bunch of VA mortgages and our main office is in MA, if you would like a Free credit check of all 3 scores and some solid avice give me a call directly 1-866-334-5626 Toll Free. I will be happy to see if I can help. Leo Namiot LeoLends@yahoo.com Jun 15th 2010
