FHA and other governemnet loans allow scores down to 580 or below, however, most lenders do not. It would be a very good idea to see why the score is so low and see if there is a quick way to raise the score to at least 620. Most state down payment assistance programs allow scores down to 600 if you have your own down payment money. USDA does not have a monimum score requirement. Hope this helps.
