The mortgage industry has caught up to most fraud, and doing so will not work. Your employment will be verified, tax transcripts will be ordered, etc. and in the end you still won't have a loan. Lenders generally use your tax returns and then check that against the transcripts they order directly from the IRS to make sure they match and it's the same as what you actually reported to the IRS.
