Is it possible for me to get a mortgage?

I have a credit score of 675, annual income of 85k, and currently have $1100 a month in debt payments (student loan, car payment, credit card). I haven't owned a home since 2002, but I found one around 180k that I'm interested in. I will likely only have 10% down by the time everything is ready to go and I would really like to see if it's possible to put less down. I know this isn't the ideal mortgage candidate, what should my expectations be? Lee Summit,MI | Nov 15th 2011

Sounds to me like you will qualify for a mortgage! The important thing is to be certain that you are going to get the best possible loan for your situation. There are a list of things that you will want to be aware of before you make the offer to be certain you are qualified, knowledgable, and that you are are going into the deal as an educated buyer. There are programs available to you that offer 100% financing so there is defintely an option for you. If you would like advice or further assistance in any way, please feel free to reach out to me. good luck to you.

FHA only requires 3.5% down, and it's likely between the seller and your mortgage broker, you can get all of your closing costs and fee's paid... Contact a local mortgage broker, not a bank and get pre approved... WilliamAcres.com
