I don't know how other Loan Officers can quote rates without knowing all the details. Can I do better? Well, if you called me at the same time you received the rate from the original lender, then it would be a fair comparison. But, if you call your original lender on Friday and then shop the rate two or three days later, that would be like comparing apples to oranges.But, there must be another underlying factor for you asking this question. Do you not have trust in your Loan Officer? That is a different issue...
