not until you re-establish income to be able to afford the loan payments within the guidelines

You can if you find new employment in the same or similar line of work making about the same income.

It depends on other factors like is there a spouse with income, do you have any other source of income such as rentals, 2nd job, investment, etc... you don't need a job to get financing, you need income... if the job is your only source of income, then you would have to be employed and have received at least 1 paycheck before you loan can fund.. assuming the job is in the same field as before and there has not been more than 90 days gap between jobs... A pre-qualifed loan application is not the same as a approval. You will need to get a position with the same line of work that you were currently in, and will need to get one month of paystubs, and if you can get a job acceptance letter, that also helps showing your new start date of employment..
