I MUST DISAGREE ( I usually don't do this :)) YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE ACTIVE MILITARY TO QUALIFY FOR A VA LOAN. I am an FHA/VA expert and you would need a COE (Certificate of Eligibility). This shows what branch of the military you served and what is your benefit amount. You could be active or retired (veteran). Please send me an email so that I may qualify you correctly. We are National Direct Lenders and can get you pre-approved within a few hours. www.Mortgage-FHA-Rates.com Jun 10th 2010
