Thank you Europe. I guess if the world is going to go bankrupt we may as well get great interest rates in the process. I hope that is a little toung-in-cheek, but there is some truth to the low rates we are experiencing now being directly a result of investors concerns about the economic troubles in Europe and worldwide.
Rates have fallen to lows we have never seen since rates were tracked...that means rates are lower than they were last year. So if you were holding out for things to improve you may have been told you were crazy, but you were right...and maybe crazy like a fox.
I have been amazed that rates have stayed this low for this long....and will be the first to admit that I have been advising folks to lock and close while things were low...I still have the same advice as I really dont see how this can last much longer. Get your rate locked...thank your friends in Europe and enjoy your low rate for the next 10-30 years.
