Any veteran of the US Armed Services who lives in the state of Georgia or plans to purchase or refinance a home there is eligible to receive a Georgia VA loan to finance their purchase.  This is only applicable to veterans who have served at least 90 continuous days and have not been dishonorably discharged.  All VA loans are backed by the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA).
