Can I buy an FHA approved condo with a VA loan?

Yes... most will allow this.. but the fact that you are asking makes me wonder if someone is telling you no!!... and if that's the case, then you should shop for a different lender... every lender has their own set of guidelines that are in addition to FHA or VA guidelines.. it's possible that your lender has some additional guidelines that disallow your scenario.. .. Hi they are sort of the same .once approved it is normally approved both ways for FHA and for VA but not all the time. Most of the time yes.If not it only takes a small amount of time to approve it. let me know and I can help you thank you Robert Oliveira Province Mortgage Assoc 508 802 0935

Yes, VA virtually always accepts a condo in a FHA/HUD approved project.

Yes you can as you can see from the answers you are receiving. The exceptions being any overlays a particular lender may have.
