Yes, you can refinance into a VA loan, and it will be a lot cheaper than your current FHA. Most lenders will not do manufactured homes, but I can help you on that. Call me at (801) 473-3154, or e-mail me at dana@utloanofficer.com, and I can answer all of your questions.

It all comes down to which lender you choose and what their guidelines are. The property will most likely have go be on it's own property, with foundation. If not, then the answer would be no, it is not possible for VA bennies to be used.

Assuming he can qualify for the loan, then yes.. if the home has an FHA loan on it now, and he is VA eligible, then he can use VA for financing.. but you really need to look at the current loan to see if it's worth refinancing.. Federal law allows the beneficiary to continue paying on a property that was inherited.. they cannot call the note due.. if the rate is good, and it's been paid for many years, it might be better to leave it alone and just continue paying it than having all the costs and headaches associated with having to do a new loan.. a good mortgage broker can give you a side by side comparison so you can see exactly whether or not it would be beneficial.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J.
