Yes and No.. For FHA financing, medical collections will be ignored, however, you still have to have acceptable credit scores.. if you have a multitude of medical collections and nothing good on your report, you might not have a high enough score to meet minimum lending standards.. For conventional, they will also ignore medical collections, but conventional financing requires a much higher credit score than FHA. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. Hello and good day to you. The collections will be a factor in your credit score, but if that is the only thing on your credit that is negative it should not be an issue with us for Conventional, FHA, or VA financing. I am happy to help if you still need it. Brad Cahoone NMLS ID 184176 - Global Home Finance Inc. NMLS ID: 316441 - bcahoone@globalhomefinanceinc.com - 972-724-3222 ext. 227
