There are programs out there and plenty of lenders that can help you get into a new home, Manufactured or Traditional. The first step is work with a mortgage broker than can help determine what you are qualified for. Although I am not licensed in MD, My firm is and I'd be happy to hook you up with a licensed Loan Originator. ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z Team of NEXA Mortgage ~ NMLS 40586 ~ Licensed in AZ, CA, GA, IL, OR & WA... In fact, NEXA is licensed in all states except MA and NY and we are pending approval in VA, so give us a call. ~ www.ApplyYes.com 480-889-9000.

I dislike the term manufactured home, as there are really two types, and lending if different for the two. First is "Mobile Home" - Towed to the property, has it own wheels, trailer hitch, steel frame. etc. Second is a "Modular home" which is wood frame like a regular house. brought to the property on the back of a truck, and a crane puts it in place. A typical modular home is treated just like any other home, while a mobile home falls under mobile home rules. I lend in MN WI IA ND SD. Find me at FirstTimeHomeBuyer-MN.com - Cambria Mortgage, NMLS 274132
