Seek the answers from an experienced Real Estate attorney in Michigan only. How to find one with experience? Call family law, divorce, bankruptcy and other attorneys specializing in other areas of law. Ask them who they would use in your position. You will likely hear the same few names come up in several conversations. Interview several and get one who gives you the straight scoop! You can also contact her local senior center or advocacy for a referral to an attorney. Lastly, you can try and contact a prominent Real Estate firm in California for a referral to a Michigan firm. All the best, Scott.

I concur with Scott Fix. Definitely I would search for a good Real Estate attorney to deal with this in the State of Michigan.

Your question is confusing,,, "mother signed loan not"? Try contacting a local real estate attorney who is familiar with Michigan real estate law.. and explain to them your scenario.. they can advise you on which steps to take to protect your property. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J.
