Much more info needed to properly answer your question.. First, if you have a 500 credit score, you have some serious derogatory credit.. understand that it takes more than a credit score to obtain financing.. lenders will look at the "complete loan profile".. not just the score.. the real question is why? Why is your score so low.. These are the things that need to be addressed.. Try contacting a credit restoration company and let them look at your credit report to see if there is anything they can do to help you improve your score.. ultimately, you will need to pay your bills on time.. getting your credit fixed is one thing, but maintaining a good credit score requires timely payments and good credit management. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. Bad credit issues happen to the best of people. The best place to start is a reputable, low cost credit restoration company. Try http://www.xperiacredit.com/ They do a good job and can give you guidance during the process. With better credit, your VA loan will be within reach. When you are ready to pursue a loan, find a local professional to help you with the VA loan. At this point however, take care of your credit before pursuing the home. All the best, Scott.
