Hello Hot Momma,It is a great idea to put your husband on the title of the property. The main reason is for some reason something does happen to you, the house will go to your husband. With him on the title of the home, the home will not go to probate and thus having to spend thousands of dollars to keep the house. The title company will do as linda said, have you both sign the warranty deed, record it at the court house, and yes it does cost around $20.00.If you have a high interest rate at this time, we could refinance your home to a lower rate and add your husband at this time also.
