Will using rapid re score create a hard inquiry from my lender? by tubajon50 from Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Mar 1st 2019 Reply

Of course it would, if you have applied for credit with the Lender. How else would the lender know what your revised score is. A Rapid REscore request however, can be submitted from you as a credit user without a Lender involved so the answer is, it depends. LHarvey@twmortgage.com

Inquiries are NOT the concern most people incorrectly believe they are. For 99% of the people, 99% of the time, an inquiry means absolutely nothing, and you should simply never worry about an inquiry.

Yes.. but NO.. When you credit is initially run, then yes.. there will be an inquiry.. Once the credit vendor does the re-score, then typically, that will not produce a new inquiry. However, if you have really, really bad credit, then adding another inquiry might lower your score a few points.. but as Joe said, for 99% of the folks, 99% of the time, it wont change anything.. I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / LendUS, NMLS 1938/ AZMB0121893

Yes in 19 years in the business, I have had a HARD credit pull 3 times in 30 days for clients for various reason and scores haven't dropped. this is a common misconception. Of course everything in moderation, but you are allowed to shop for a mortgage and have multiple pulls within reason with No or little change...
