Using VA cashout funds for home improvements OK?

I have a 65% LTV Va mortgage on my home and would like to perform some updates to the interior and exterior (mostly window/paint treatments). Can I refi for Cashout and use funds for the work? Also looking for a good refi rate in general. Thank you by pesta_luna784623740 from Glendale, Arizona. Oct 29th 2014 Reply

Absolutely, you can do a 100% cash out refinance with VA if you qualify. VA offers some of the best interest rates with no mortgage insurance. Great loan. I would contact a local loan officer and have them provide you a couple of loan options at different loan amounts to see what will best for your needs and goals. Best wishes, Sean
