Hi - the waiting period for a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy is "Two Years from date of discharge with re-established credit". After that time period you should be able to apply for a mortgage. if you have any other questions or need help please feel free to contact me at 703-722-6641. Good luck!Regards,Patricia Johnson, Mortgage Loan OriginatorGreenway Funding Group, Inc.Rockville, MD

Yes: For a Conventional Loan 2 years from the discharge date and 4 years from the dismissal date, USDA Loan 3 years from the discharge date, FHA and VA 1 year of the payout must elapse and payment performance must be satisfactory; buyer must receive permission from the court to enter into the mortgage.
