Home Inspection, termite inspection, and appraisal fee are the only fee's you would pay upfront.. but the appraisal fee is the only fee a lender should charge you upfront.. home inspection and termite inspection fees are not required for most loan products.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. You will need appraisal fee, home inspection fee and 1 years worth of home owners insurance premium. That is all you will need up front.

Hi Greg, I am assuming you mean what will you need to pay out of your pocket when financing. If you are purchasing a home, this will likely be: Appraisal and Home Inspection (optional, but strongly suggested). Some lenders ask you to pay an application and/or credit fee, but I and many others do not. Most insurance companies will allow the premium for the first year to be billed at closing. If you are refinancing, the only upfront fee you should have to pay is for the appraisal. (unless you are refinancing through the HARP program where the appraisal is waived in some cases. If any lender asks you for an application fee or any other upfront fee besides the appraisal, you should stay away from them. You shouldn't have any problem finding one that does not require this. I'm happy to help with the financing or just give you advice. If you need more information, or a competing rate quote call, email or use my live support button to discuss or get in touch with me. Upfront fees include an appraisal fee and a home inspection fee. You also be responsible for closing costs, but those are paid at closing.
