Interest rates are on a slight decline this morning. MBS are up +5/32 (FNMA 30-yr 3.0 at 103.09), which is about 20/32 higher than yesterday at this time. Favorable repricing took place yesterday. Early investors may have priced at much lower levels before 9:15 et.

MBS have continued to rally this morning on increased expectations for QE3 from the Fed. The Fed Minutes released yesterday suggested that the Fed will take further easing action soon unless economic growth picks up sharply. Weekly Jobless Claims rose to 372K, above the consensus of 365K. German leaders expressed opposition to an extension of the time frame for Greece to implement reforms required by the bailout package. The Dow is down 50 points. New Home Sales will be released at 10:00 et.
