Cash-out Refi's are on the rise; since 2017 and into 2018. The spike in refi's, analyst say, were a simmer red flag right before the great recession. The shar jumps have been highest since 2006, 50 percent in 2017 and 61 percent in 2018. However, this time around Lenders and investors are not as leery of the spike, and also have less to fear because of the credit quality of the cash-out portion of refinancing.
