Mortgage Rates 12-13-13

By Steven Roberts Updated on 12/13/2013

No economic data is scheduled for release today and the next big event on the calendar is the Feds meeting on Monetary Policy. On December 18th the Fed will announce their decision on Federal tapering off mortgage-backed securities. A compromise was reached this week regarding the 2014 fiscal budget, which may insinuate financial stability in the economy. As Wall Street has provided an array of conflicting economic data, it is purely speculation of tapering that will influence mortgage rates these next few days. Check back daily for mortgage news and your daily rate update.
