Will mortgage rates go up tomorrow? Mortgage rates are predicted to rise slightly, remaining fairly stable in response to today’s positive economic data. The November Jobs Report presented better-than-expected results, leading investors to speculate on the Feds intention to taper. The Federal Reserve will meet to discuss monetary decisions this December 18th, however industry experts believe it is unlikely tapering will begin before the new Chairman, Janet Yellen, takes office in February. Regardless, the market is moved by those investing in stocks and bonds, not the experts.
